Is the stadium really half empty?

Well drunk people tend to be hard headed....It's not rocket science

How drunk are these people?  Upper deck has 54 sections....you seem to be implying in upper deck only almost 200 Panthers fans got so drunk they sat in the heat and boiled until they fainted....

....how many do you think did so in the lower bowl?

Damnedest thing I have ever heard --- never realized Panthers fans were such a sotted group.

If this is actually the reason then that's just more reason for Tepper to build a retractable roof stadium. I'm sure it pisses him off to see all those empty seats. He is all about home field advantage and cant be happy at all

Honestly, if you have a stadium in the South, it should have a retractable roof. Fans aren't going to be pumped to get broiled in a stadium for the first 2-4 games of the season.

What year did this become a requirement?  Should Clemson also cover their stadium?  UNC-Charlotte?  I think it's a millennial thing.....soft generation.

Especially after you have lost 5 home games in a row.

I think the average ticket price for a NFL game is more than a college football game. I don't want to burn up if I'm spending that much money.

Pathetic that you'd use a discussion about weather to try to show off your money. You'd think all that money could buy you some self confidence

What concerns me more, is, his Address is literally listed as the location of the vehicle. Is it really smart putting your address on the forum?

Eh, I don't think so. Most of the bitching comes from the older crowd in regards to that. The biggest competition is NOT going to a game, something all of these teams are struggling with. For the millennials, it is two-fold. On the one hand, less of them are as engaged in traditional sports. On the other, there is so much more pulling their attention in every direction that most aren't going to be interested in sitting for 3-4 hours.

So, a more comfortable venue, with more modern options(TV's, Wi-Fi, social media BS, etc) will give more incentives for the younger crowd to engage. Like it, dislike it, agree, disagree, it just is what it is.

Some fair points you raise.
