Who's confident Rivera will have this team ready for tomorrow? I just hope we don't have one of those typical "no energy" games that's common under Rivera.

That is my feeling.  Rivera gets outcoached  nearly every time a team has more than a week to prepare--You know LA has been prepping for a month.

Good news?   RR showed very little in preseason.  Very vanilla.

McVay is a very good coach but I think he disguises the team’s lack of talent in some respects.  I don’t believe their secondary is as good as it seems. In addition, their run game is nonexistent and I’m not sure Gurley can get it anymore. If you focus that pressure on Goff we can get these guys. Kupp and Woods can’t take the tops off defenses. Cooks is key to stop IMO

So this is our opener. The crowd will be cheering and Cam loves to play at home. As he goes, we go. If he follows the gameplan and handles the blitz it should be fun. If he struggles we struggle. Here is to Cam coming out strong and hot out of the tunnel.

Wade Phillips.  That alone worries me.

The longer the game goes, the better the Rams will play.

You forget though LA is a pleasant 70ish with hardly any humidity year round. They are going into 92 and what ever the fug we got for humidity right now in Charlotte. Oh and they’re wearing black.

Everything else, yes.

    • Yea XL excels at the 50/50 balls he still has to learn how to be a complete receiver and hopefully he will with time. Youngs deep ball is the biggest question mark on our offense so far. Something I had hoped would have been worked on in the offseason but it still hasn't shown up and I'm not sure that it will. He can seemingly hit the corner/flag/deep out with consistency and a fair bit of distance but I don't think I've seen him complete a "go" ball or a fade like the 2 Dalton completed today in the red zone since he's been here and that is my.most concerning thing about Young. We don't have to rely on that aspect of his game to be a good offense but it HAS to at least be some sort of threat to the defense and so far it's still been non existent. Very concerning.
    • Yea none of our receivers fit our qb skill set and needed offensive scheme based on said qb and offensive line personnel besides Diontae, but they keep chasing this same big fast in a straight line but stiff and slow in the short area mold like Young is just going to be throwing play action deep bombs all game.  One day we will get a gm who understands the modern nfl, and draft some route running receivers who are explosive in the short area, but that time is not now.
    • Ok but what about the D’Shawn Jamison as posted in these clips?
