AB released. Which team will be dumb enough to sign him?

He will have to be willing to play for less than he was signed for, there is no doubt about that.

That said, to go after him at this point, you will either have to be firmly in charge, and have no fear of losing your job (very few in the NFL) or be on the hotseat, and thinking that you need a miracle to keep your job.

The first type (BB) won't be willing to pay him nearly what he was going to get in OAK, and the 2nd type would likely be hamstrung by their owners because they may be looking down the road already.

Tealeaves are tough to read on this one....maybe Zona, Miami, Jax, TB (Arians is an egomaniac), etc...

I still say Dallas, they got 30 mil in cap space. Sign him to a high target “prove yourself” one year. Instead of a low target prove yourself(patriots). Jerry Jones is crazy enough to do that. Plus if he gives him 20 mil this year AB stays highest paid, they can cut him next year and focus on Dax and the rest of their aging roster.

On the other hand... Hurney has play money right now and is dumb enough...

security for the time being and imo leverage. brown refuses to play on his original contract and it's easier for the team to eat the cost while trying to get him on the field. he could have even entered into a good faith effort to make it work with an awful organization like the raiders, who knows. but it's weird (given his history) to assume that he was threatening to retire over his helmet, skipping workouts, and physically threatening the gm for no reason other than he's just a big dummy who secretly wanted work for the raiders all along

What is weird is how hard you are defending the guy whilst ignoring what some of his former teammates have said about him.

Ryan Clark... Troy Polamalu... JuJu...

You seem to be under the illusion that Brown was a victim in Pitt and a victor for finally becoming a FA. And according to Ryan Clark, he aggressively went at it with Dick Labou and just about everyone else back in his Steeler days after signing his extension which would mean he does have a history with that bs

But yeah, good for him.

To the folks suggesting Washington as an option, might want to take a moment and look up the last name of their head coach.

That could be... complicated.

Yeah I’d count them out too.

Don’t see the Rams taking him.

Green Bay and the Bears showed they need some offensive help. Maybe they panic?

Thought about that, and still think it's possible, only because Snyder is a crazy person.

Fire the Brother Gruden so they can bring in AB.

Only in fairy tales, but I think that Snyder lives in one already.

We’ll see. But if he chooses which team he wants to play for now and these types of antics continue, what will you say then?

Oh I think this will definitely be his last chance no matter where he goes. If he has an issue again he’ll be blackballed.
