Was Eric Reed a distraction? I was one of the people who was worried about him and all he has done is come in and play. AB would make us a SB contender. We would have the exact same set up that he had in Pitt. Cam, CMC, and AB.

You haven't been keeping up with the news obviously. All the things AB is doing is a huge team distraction and shows he is becoming a headcase in need of psychological help.

He did not want to play for the raiders. How else was he going to get released? That doesn't mean he would not want to play with Cam who he worked out with over the Summer and a owner who actually knows him and he actually likes. Might not happen but it's not far fetched.

Panthers "DO NOT" have enough leverage to even acquire him being trade or money. This alone will count Carolina out.

If he didn't want to play for the Raiders, why sign the new contract?

He's a free agent there sport. He can come in on a 1 year deal. We can make room as well.

What’re you talking about? He’s a free agent. I don’t want him but your post is not true

I don't see him getting anywhere close to the kind of money he was gonna make with the Raiders, but technically Rosenhaus can afford to sit back and see who makes the best offer at this point.

That being the case, there are plenty of teams in way better position to make an offer for him than we are.

This is logic and on target but some here don't get the fact AB is not ever going to come here.

Most definitely but the question still remains is that if it was all about the money then why not just play for the Raiders? I think AB soured with how he was treated in Pitt and that carried over. Not saying that means we are a contender but we do have connections and if he worked with the team it could be done. AB for most of his career has been a great WR and we are known league wide for having a great locker room.

Gruden and the Raiders were ready to bend over backwards to please him and he still acted up.
