I like the potential.  I like the players.  

I want to feel good about it, but then I flash back to 2010. The Horror.

Norv and Ron were coming off a 13-3 season.  A good QB, loaded roster.  In 2010, they combined for the #1 offense in the NFL---AND the #1 defense in the NFL.

They finished 9-7 and did not qualify for the playoffs.

So I will hope for 10-6, and realize that 7-9 is possible.  

I feel good about the Rams---don't know why.

This may be the homer in me, but I don’t think we have a weak group on the roster. A lot of folk are worried about Aaron Donald, but he led the lead in sacks last year with 20.5 and the Rams team as a whole had 35 (and that was with Suh). I don’t fear anyone else on their D-Line or in their linebacker group. Meanwhile we have KK, McCoy, Mario, Burns, and Luke. Donte has the speed to stick with any small wideout, Bradberry has the size and strength to stick with any bigger wideout. I love the way Gaulden played in the preseason. The Cat Pack is explosive. And if we ever decide to take CMC out, we have two other homerun hitters that can come in for him. Greg is a hall-of-famer if he can stay healthy for two more years (and maybe even if he doesn’t). And Cam. On his best day there’s nothing you can do to stop him. He may be the scariest quarterback in the league to face. I think Tepper has changed the culture, and I expect us to make the playoffs. We have the talent to win it all.

At any point can goto a 2 or 8.

Honestly have no clue how this season will go. I still dont believe in the odd season stuff....... but its hard not too. The division games are going to super tough, even the bucs. Id take 3-3 right now. Its the NFLs dream, except for a about 5 teams, they all could be 8-8.

the panthers showed nothing in preseason, possibly intentionally, and we have no idea how they're going to show out. They've installed an entirely new defense. Cam's shoulder is a question mark. They're heavily relying on a rookie DE to produce. 

I have zero confidence in this team. That's not to say I think they're going to do poorly; I just have no fuging idea.

Apart from OLine we have an all around solid roster.  Ron has defensive mind and if the games come down to low scoring grind we will have the advantage.   We are a better team than last year, our schedule is easier than last year and with a healthy Cam this is a playoff team.

Should be 11-5 with a playoff appearance. If we get hot at the end who knows. Could go deep in the playoffs.

Sticking with 9-7, but that could easily turn in to 8-8 or 7-9.  Cam gets hurt and it could be 3-13.  I have zero confidence in this franchise.
