Hopefully, Sunday’s games will look a lot cleaner. But this is the kind of hot garbage you get when the league scales back a sizable chunk of physicality from training camp. Sunday’s game has the potential to feel this way too, so just be prepared that there may be a sloppy game on Sunday. Take the win, and don’t complain. September is all about getting ugly wins, it seems. And no, I’m not a prisoner of the moment here. It’s been this way for a few years now in week one, with few exceptions.
