I can't buy that.

If you're really looking to get released, why apologize like he did yesterday?

Ryan Clark made a pretty good point. He believes the reason why the apology happened is because Brown and Rosenhaus understood that the only place they were getting this kind of guaranteed money was from the Raiders.

Rosenhaus is no dummy (granted, some of his clients seem to be).

A) Because this is Gruden and AB just fuging around with Denver.

B) He didn’t realize they could void his 30 million yet.

I'll take B.

Whether or not Antonio Brown understood what could happen, Drew Rosenhaus did. Wasn't hard to see he was trying to do damage control.

Unfortunately, damage control is difficult to do when your client is a bull in a china shop.

If you are going to make up my entire side of the argument for me, whats the point in me ever responding?

Do I think its ok?  No.  Do I think its no problem?  No.  I never stated otherwise.  What I have stated is that your restrictions that you wanted to implement were a bit overblown and that ultimately, AB isn't doing anything illegal.  No "quotes" are needed around the word.

I strongly feel if a person isn't doing something illegal, something that harms others, they should be left to their own devices.  I also believe AB's "diva-ness" is directly tied to his on field play.  If you try to beat the diva out of him, his on field play will suffer.  I also believe other teams realize this, and while they may try to taper his actions here and there they largely accept he will be crazy.  But as long as his crazy isn't illegal, and he shows up and plays..they are willing to work with it.

Do I think its worth freaking out about, to this degree?  When we have guys getting huge contract extensions after admitting the bruises/arm breakings of his 2 year old child are probably his fault, under the guise of "but i was giving my 2 year old boxing lessons!  don't worry, we had boxing gloves on!"?

If he isn't doing anything illegal, he is more than welcome to be as drama queen-y as he wants if he can find an employer to put up with it.  And I will see it as some fun entertainment and be thankful that he is not in Carolina.  There is an incredibly long list of NFL teams willing to put up with it.

Raiders arent one of them!

Hahahahahaha!!!

I wonder if he will sue over the $29M. I don't know how the CBA works but its a lot of money.

He would file a grievance and most likely loose. He never showed up for anything, they fined him for that. Voiding his guaranteed money, since he didn’t even play a snap. He has nothing to go on.

Mayock basically said, we’ll still pay you after you pay this fine for not showing up and play from now on. But you don’t get money for nothing now.

Also if Gruden didn’t know he was being recorded in that video, even if he said it was ok after the fact(without signing anything). Both AB and his Agent could be looking at criminal charges in Cali.

I skimmed the CBA and could see where "conduct detrimental" is defined. I'm guessing  they could argue the definition but I am sure there is precedent. There are also procedural stuff they could look for. I'm certain Drew and AB have a team of lawyers looking at this. The NFLPA will certainly take over.
