Sorry this is a non football topic.... I don’t post often but frequently view and happened to navigate to the site at this moment. Be safe everyone in the evacuation zones in NC/SC. I am in Florida and got notice today and went to friends house outside of the flood zone, please follow all warnings, this storm is not a joke. Please keep the Bahamas in your mind,  this storm is witting out while communities at this time.... Safety first, keep pounding second and super bowl third my brothers....

A couple of wobbles and we could be looking at a really bad time here in the Carolinas too

Living in Charleston SC for 25 years and have seen hurricanes come and go.  Dorian is a bad one and the Bahamas are in my thoughts.  As for the Carolina's, it appears that when it arrives here it might be as a category 2.  Not good at all.... but certainly not as bad as a cat 5.  I feel that the mandatory evacuation of the SC coast is a little premature, but I understand the "better be safe than sorry" approach.  My wife just had a hip replacement surgery a few days ago, so unless it is a cat 4 or 5 directly aiming at Charleston (we actually live in Mount Pleasant) we are staying put.  A few years ago we had to evacuate the week one of our cats had major surgery....  that was no fun.

Maybe it is premature, but I do understand why they are having an evacuation though.  Not that many roads out of the coastal areas, and if it veers at the last minute, it would be a disaster.  Better safe that sorry.

here is a link to the situation on the roads in SC .....  https://www.511sc.org/ . Click on the camera just above Harleyville on I26.  Notice that both lanes are now directing traffic West, away from the coast....

My brother and his wife live in Sarasota. They're bunkered in. It's on the Gulf side so they're hoping it isn't to bad.

My sis-in-law's family live in Wilmington, though, and they're still recovering/rebuilding from damage from Florence last year.
