I'm pulling for Samaje Perine to get signed, cut Holyfield and sign him to the PS.

With a lot of the young guys guys we kept yesterday, I am hoping we are scouring the field of cuts to bring new guys in. 

Godwin, Hemingway, and maybe Cook are really the only guys that I’m even interested bringing back.

 There are a ton of cuts that are not PS eligible.

That's who I thought it was, but he didn't have the mini-dreds in his camp pic and was clean shaven too.

I'm convinced Kuneszyk is a placeholder now.  That's 10 and another one on the PS.  At this point we can field the entire defensive side of the ball just with LBs.  And before anyone throws out the obvious that we switched to a 3-4, adding one more guy to the scheme doesn't necessitate stocking up linebackers like a doomsday prepper stocks up on MREs.

Worth noting: The waiver claim deadline is at noon today. Don't be surprised to see some changes announced afterward.

As more than one writer has mentioned, both players and fans shouldn't necessarily be celebrating "making the 53" just yet.

Read yesterday that the NFL will process all the claims by 1 PM

Correct. Noon is the deadline for submission.

What drives fans nuts on days like this is that transactions often aren't announced until much later than when they actually occur.

I like it! Of all the positional groups, WR is the most stacked, so I thought it was unlikely to go after another wide out.  This is by FAR the deepest this team has ever been at WR in it's 25 year history.
