Oct. 18 at Tampa Bay 1 p.m. FOX W won by taking Jake out in the 4th

Oct. 25 BUFFALO 4:05 p.m. CBS L should've won, Jake happened

Nov. 1 at Arizona 4:15 p.m. FOX L Jake will blow it for our D

Nov. 8 at New Orleans 4:05 p.m. FOX L Jake vs Brees

Nov. 15 ATLANTA 1 p.m. FOX ? Again, better QB play

I predict a 8 - 8 at best, primarily cause I'm a fan. But it'll probably be 4 - 12.

Fox is to stubborn to change QB's.

Maybe Delhomme is better than Moore, but a qb change will let Delhomme know that he's expendable, qive him time to reflect and feel the fear of losing his job. How many other teams in the league would put up with this level of perfomance from their starting qb. I am certain that our passing yards would increase with more and I'm almost certain that he wouldn't do worse. Fox pulled Rodney Peete who had completed 4 - 10 for 19yrds, 0 TD and 0 Int and inserted Jake who finished w/12 - 20 for 122yrds, 3 TD and 2 Int but fail to find a reason to pull Jake now after a 4TD and 13 int season thus far. Personally, I'd expect lesser play from my backup qb, if my starting qb isn't playing any better than I expect from my backup, I'd give my backup a try. The backup will play with something to prove cause he has something to prove. Jake doesn't, he hasn't been given any competition other than Carr which turned out a bust, eventhough he played well durning pre at NYG. Yeah you can say it was against 2nd stringers but none our qb's played well against 2nd or 3rd stringers. I believe that the problem lies with Fox. It's time for a head coaching change to send the message that we want to win and will. You're either part of the problem or the solution, you can't be both. We need a QB thats a part of the solution, I'd keep Jake as backup if he'd accept if he won't I'd release him, because of what he brings to the team, his fire and passion. I think that he'd be able to help develop his replacement. Jake sees what needs to be done, he just can't do it anymore!

Look at us last year...Jake was just as crappy (just threw less picks) but we finished 12-4. The 49ers started 3-1 with Shaun Hill as QB. The Texans Matt Schaub, for all intents and purposes, is one of the best QBs in the league this year but they are 3-3.

I think we could beat Atlanta at home, Tampa, maybe New Orleans at the end of the season if they're resting their starters.

We may surprise with a win over Miami or NY, so I'll go out on a limb and say 6-10.

It will be close, like the first game with the Buccs but I think we can do it again. If we are super lucky we will get Jets and if a miracle happens we will beat Miami. And that that leaves us at 5-11. Of course this is based on Jake staying in the game.

I knew the way we played in the preseason that this year would be a wash. We have never had back-to-back winning seasons for whatever reason...and our schedule is just too tough for a team that signed no free agents and wasted a first round pick. (even though it is next year's). Week one confirmed my fears. I didn't think that our offense would be this bad , though. I thought the defense was the worse of the two evils. In past years like 2004 and 2007, injuries played a big key in the outcome of those losing seasons. This year there is just no excuse. I blame coaching and the lack of adjustments being made not just during the games, but in many aspects of the organization in general. Fox will ride Delhomme all the way to the unemployment line. Unbelievable...
