Safety depth is a little worrisome, but all teams have one position that is weak.  As long as our starters stay healthy we should be good, but I will say It is very Nice to have Cockrell as a floater. I am much more confident in his abilities compared to Colin Jones.

OL honestly worries me more than Safety right now barring losing both our starting safeties.

2019 Carolina Panthers....for now.

Not believing we're done.

Not hating what I see, though.

I don't have a problem having so many RBs and so "few" WRs. the RBs play a big role in the passing game and, like @ellis said, we'll probably be running a lot of 12 personnel as well. I'm just not worried about it. I could see us trading for another one, but I'm getting the feeling that if we were really interested in having more than 5, we would have kept Godwin. That corps of 5 is still probably the most solid group we've had in the last 10 years, definitely since Smitty left.

Safety....i'm just counting on the pass rush being great to make safety less of a concern. We've been weaker there before.

OL is still the major concern to me. I hope it's better than what we saw.

They were just so few reps in these preseason games for the top five receivers, it was hard to gauge what it is they want to do.

I just can only go on what I saw in 2018, and in camp, where there was a lot more activity from the top five. Smith started out on PUP,  but came on strong and made some nice plays near the end. Hogan looked like he was firmly entrenched as the fourth option, and I don’t think he’s going to play the slot as much as he will play outside.

13 is Norv’s permanent slot-guy, there’s no doubt. They’ll move Samuel and Moore around a bit, and they’ll both have plenty of opportunities on intermediate and deep routes. 12 will be their go-to guy on the RAC stuff. 10 will be used more vertically as the “take the top off” the defense option. They had great success using Ginn in that role. It’s been missing for a minute.

You’ll also see them both (10 and 12) a good deal in the running game on the jet sweeps and triple option.
