They can trade the Panthers for him but that's about it, I believe.

Unless there has been a rule change, you can't trader a player who is on IR. All we could do is negotiate an injury settlement and cut him.

Corrrection,. Rule did change last year. We can trade him.

Yeah, you can.

You just have to find somebody who's dumb enough to trade for an injured player.

I'm glad we aren't in the situation of the Vikings. They traded a 5th round pick for a kicker and cut him like 2 or 3 weeks afterwards. I didn't get to see why but damn did he just straight up suck for them to just throw away a 5th round pick like that o what lol. Gonna have to look into how he did for some clarification or something.

I just heard that news on NFL radio. Vikes did all that for nothing and now they will have kicker problems. They will just have to get a kicker from what is left on the market.

Here is their explanation for it. They basically claimed he struggled in preseason and that when he came in it made Dan Bailey start doing better. Heck they brought him in to try and do both K and P jobs and then he leaves with neither. So they really gave a 5th round pick so they can put temporary pressure on their current kicker to do better. I somehow feel like that won't last into the season now that he doesn't have that person behind him anymore lol.

    • lol Wonnum at 6m “could be outstanding”? It’s week 6 now and he still hasn’t played. Wonnum will be cut this offseason. There is no “could be” about it anymore. It was a bad signing  A large majority of us wanted Frazier over Brooks at the time of the draft. No one expects him to be a top 10 back. Especially if the middle of our IOL is sh!t. Corbett is a FA after this season and we just spend a fortune on 2 guards… drafting a stud center in the 2nd round on a rookie deal for the next 4 seasons was a damn gift sitting there for the talking. Instead Morgan opted to spend more resources on a running back… talk about stupid  Our cap situation is awful. And will be again this offseason. Morgan needed to sit on his hands and not hand out useless contracts just to because. This team was once again not winning the Super Bowl this year or next yet they continued to operate like they HAD to fill holes. This defense was always going to be bad and guys like Jewell, Robinson, Clowney, Fuller, Scott weren’t changing that. We were always going to be bad this year the least they could’ve done is cleaned up some of the cap mess. Morgan went on a cutting spree and then proceeded to sign a bunch of guys similar to the ones he had just cut. So now we’re eating a crap load of dead money and paying new guys to produce the same results
    • So ironic that Jaycee Horn seems to be the only player NOT injured this year.
