Indy needs a backup for 2 weeks since they only have Brisket and Chad Kelly right now and Kelly is suspended for 2 games. Probably a short stint if he signs.

I'm sure that;s the reason we cut his today, gave him a chance to catch on with another team.

He has the ability to be a decent football player in the right offense. Clearly, Frank Reich wants to take a good look at him.

They've got a solid to good OL, decent weapons, really good head coach and no real powerhouse team in their division. I could see them squeaking out 9-7.

Word on the street is that his agent was in talks with them before being cut, but he doesn't want to play with Funchess.
