I repeat, Moore Isn't The Answer

Let me put this as simply i can...

We do not like Jake Delhomme for what he has done THIS SEASON.

His performance in general is garbage.

All we want is for Matt Moore to get his CHANCE.

A CHANCE to start.

Why? Because we don't trust John Fox.

We have lost trust in John Fox's decision making.

We want to know for ourselves that Matt Moore really isn't an option.

We're willing to sacrifice a game to do it.

Because for one, we don't think Jake Delhomme gives us our best chance to win, and if we lose because of Matt Moore, it'll be the same if we lose because of Jake Delhomme.

We, the fans not in support of Delhomme, want to know for ourselves.

You guys can show us past meaningless misleading stats to show how "crappy" Matt Moore is and tell us to look at game footage (where he actually looks pretty good).

But this is about now. Jake Delhomme was a serviceable QB the last couple years, some years even played well enough to garner a Pro Bowl consideration.

But that's not the way he's playing NOW.

We want Matt Moore's "NOW", we wanna know where he's at.

Now I put every sentence or fragment on a new line so it's not hard to read.

Here's the basic points covered in case you missed it

-> Give Matt Moore a chance to show he sucks worse than Delhomme

-> Willing to Sacrifice a game to do it.

-> We want to know if our Coach is actually making sound decisions or not in this matter

Being that catdaddy is doing nothing other than trolling quite hard, I doubt he actually takees the time to read this or even comprehend what your saying. I hate that you lost time writing this for someone who doesnt care to see what you have to say :(.

After some recent spirited debates with several posters, I think I'm slowly beginning to learn to pick my battles. Some people are too stubborn and ignorant to even acknowledge you've got a point.

For example, even though I want Moore to start, I can understand why others still might think Jake is our best option. That being said, I think it's completely ignorant to rule Moore out simply because he hasn't taken the starting job yet.

There really are just some people who want to believe only what they want to believe, and it's frustrating to even try to enter into an intelligent conversation with these folks.

So someone who has a different opinion than yours....on a message board, isn't capable of intelligent conversation. ???? For realz??

My intelligence level has just peaked!

WOW Factor 101................and key word highlighted.

I wasn't speaking to you, nor was I even speaking about you. So shove off.

My point is we can all have opinions. Catdaddy has flatout called people who want Moore to start "idiots." If you think that's intelligent conversation, I guess it explains a lot.

Point taken, and understood. Pardon me, and I agree with that as well. :cheers2:

It's all good man, sorry for the rudeness. I just thought you had some personal vendetta out for me. :D

:cheers2:

No sir...learned a long time ago it solves nothing on a message board. We all vent from time to time, so it's well understood.

If we didn't...then I would really start to wonder about the ways of the world....wouldn't you? :cheers2:

No doubt. I blame this disappointing season for most of the venting around here. I think we were all a little happier this time last year.

(Then again, it is just a game when it comes down to it.)

It is just a game.. but it's a game we love. And when the things you love take a shitdive, it hurts. It hurts a lot. So, in a way, it's more than just a game...

Most definitely.

But sometimes you've got to take a step back from the whole situation and just realize that there's a lot more to life than football. It's funny: I used to get so pissed off if we lost on Sundays, that I'd be pretty miserable the rest of the day.

Then I realized that it's silly to let my life be diminished by children's games at which men play. I can still take an interest in it. I can still take joy in it. And, of course, I can still take pain in it.

But I try not to let the Panthers' poor performances ruin the time I spend with my friends and family, because football pales in comparison to them (and plus, they don't throw as many interceptions).

Even so, it's pretty hard. Especially when more than one team is doing bad.
