I think the difficulty with McCoy is that he might still be good for a RB2, but he wants to be paid and played like an RB1. He might have some tread left on the tires, but if he doesn't pan out there's a big price tag and a malcontent on your roster. Not quite the recipe for a Carolina pick-up. We already did that with Keyshawn Johnson back in the day.

Yep and RB2 on this team would only get 2 carries a game

They are another team that I just can't figure out how they get these unlimited resources - be it cap room or just pieces to move.

McCoy was cut because Singletary showed out in preseason and had a prolific collegiate career. Got him at the very end of the draft for 2 bucks, so stoked

Not good.  He needs to be extremely expensive in terms of trade pieces.

McCoy situation  is the reason why Rbs  have to hold out early on in their  careers

Once you hit a certain age teams won't be giving out huge contracts to Rbs

Bills fans are going to be watching this season hard.

If they wind up having a good season, especially on offense, McDermott and Beane will look like geniuses.

If they have a rough season though, you'll probably see a lot of fans revisit the McCoy release with boiling anger.

It's not really that simple of course, but fanthink is rarely tied to deep, well thought out analysis
