Yikes. That's alarming. Kiko is a hell of a player. Clearly they're gearing up for a title run. And I can hardly blame them. Brees' window is closing and he was a blown call away from a shot at it all last year. I have a hard time thinking they won't run away with the division this year if they shore up the defense.

Kicking the debt can down the road.  They are in win now mode until Brees retires.  Then they will be in full blown rebuild mode.  The Saints are desperately trying to get one more Lombardi before then.

Kiko Alonso is about a 6m cap hit.
