Jake Vs. Moore In Int's

quick question...what do Delhommes career numbers have to do w/ the shell of a QB he is today? Also, what good do stats outside of Moore's starts tell you?

I like how people want to throw out the games Moore didnt start, even though in those games he had no pressure and no excuse to be as awful as he was. In games where Moore came in without starting, his QB rating is 22.

Catdaddy, try and use some logic.

What good does it do to take stats from Jake's career when it is quite evident his play this year has been nothing like that during much of his time in Carolina?

I mean really, what sense does that make? If Jake were playing like he were in 2003 or even 2004, do you think we'd all be begging for Moore to start?

Jake and Matt as Panther's-Jake throws an Int every 30 attempts, Matt throws an Int every 20 attempts

Jake hasn't come into a game to throw only Hail Marys. I guess you don't remember that. Fox brought in Moore a couple of games in 2007 after Vinny and Carr had made the game out of reach to just throw the ball into the endzone near the end of games. Can you be any less informed?

Catdaddy,

why do you hate moore so much?..why don't you want to give him a chance?..can our team get any worse at QB?..

jake has thrown 14 interceptions and only 3 touchdowns..the panthers are 2-4 at the moment and will not make the playoffs..stats don't lie..smell the coffee..

JAKE SUCKS AND WE NEED A CHANGE AT QB !

So only Jake gets to have a running game to complement him? Putting in Moore's stats where he comes in and basically has to throw the ball every play isn't proper statistics. It defeats the purpose of control data. I don't know if you know anything about the scientific method, but you only test for a single variable at a time and control all others. You put them under the same conditions before a valid comparison can be made.

That's said.

1 INT with 3min left in the game pretty much asking for hail mary.

INT on last play of the game. Hail Mary

Nearly all Shotgun passes with the game out of reach. Interception was a bad decision.

Again all shotgun passes, came in with 9min left in the game after Fred Taylor's 80 yard td to definitely put the game out of reach.

Against the Seahawks he had a running game. Against the Cowboys he had a running game. Against Tampa Bay's Backups he had a running game.

All his INTs before his starts were in situations where we were ONLY passing. You wanna include stats, include the play-by-play motherf**ker.

It's very much true. Did you watch the 2007 season?

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Seamonk again."

I think that's a great point. I really want to see what Moore can do with a run-heavy offense and a decent defense. Neither aspects of our team were that great last year.
