I remember Barry Switzer needed a map to find Charlotte. After that game he was ready to retire.

I was 9 so I remember this game but my understanding of the rules and regulations of the game was not strong lol

Watched it at home, loving every min of it, but Lamar Lathon's comments after the game gave me chills, loved it!!!

Loved that game!  I was in college at the time. I know I watched it, but I can't remember where.  Probably at some obscure bar.

I remember watching the whole thing.  I remember the headline of the Observer sports page next day "New Sheriff in Town" over a picture of someone planting Aikman on his butt.  Amazing year.

I remember watching this game. I was a few weeks from turning 1 year old.

Lived in Greensboro NC in a crappy little rental house off Randleman Rd.  I was a 35 year old married man and attending A&T in my senior year.   Watched the game on TV with some friends and partied our asses off.  I'll never forget Lamar's statement to old Jerry after the game.  Good times.

15 yrs in Navy. Watched the game at home. Came out of my seat when Sam locked it up for us.

Had moved to the US (Charleston)a few years earlier and was just getting into football.... remember that season very well and became a Panthers fan 4ever !!

Watched at home. I was just thrilled to beat Dallas. It felt even more meaningful than just beating a hated team, given their status/recent history in the league at the time.

Seems like we could only beat them in the post season forever though. (Until Luke went crazy on Thanksgiving.)

The Green Bay game which followed was absolutely heartbreaking though.  I remember wanting us and the Jags both to win the conference championship games so that the two newest teams would face off in the Super Bowl!  The Jags lost too.
