I'm a Good Person and I smoke Weed

It’s dumb to put someone in prison for smoking weed. Just dumb. I’m a Christian conservative and it’s still one of the dumbest things to me. I don’t smoke anything and never have, but that’s me. Alcohol is much worse IMO and it’s all over the place.

This forum has gone to hell in a hand basket.

We're a week and a half before game one and "Finally A Decent Thread" and it's about weed.

Should be in Rant and Rave. Super weak to tie this to Cox an the NFL and make it Panther related just so it can be posted here.

I do agree it should be legalized but should not be utilized outside the home. Those caught driving under the influence should face heavy fines and insurance increases.  Those caught at work should be fired.

I am certain the US Military will keep it banned.

1) it is steeler preseason week, how many bubble threads you wanna read?  Did you know we are this close to trading for Trent Williams?

2) no one is forced to enter this thread much less post in said "weak" thread

3) mods, such as they are other than Rayzor, can certainly move thread at any time.

4) it is a very viable NFL topic that now can be directly linked to a Panther player and our recent ownership change and new owner outlook on topic is very pertinent.

Weed is mostly harmless for sure. Normally I would say NC would be last to legalize it but we actually have decriminalized it to some extent. My understanding is that if you get caught with less than a half ounce it is an automatic misdemeanor and jail time is not allowed.

State laws can be found here. https://norml.org/laws

Edibles are my go to for reasons many have stated. I am actually very sensitive to thc so I do very small doses - like 5mg. Unfortunately the place i got it from was shut down and I haven't bothered finding a new source. It was nice having the exact strain and amount available.

Just what the world needs! A bunch of 300 pound men running around and injecting themselves with marijuana.

Not to mention it gives them schizophrenia and turns them into psychopaths!  This is what the NFL wants? Drugged up players, getting in fights with imaginary animals in the streets, passing out in the gutter with syringes in their arms?

so you go from a 1 in 23,000 chance of having a psychotic episode, to a 4 in 23,000 chance of having a psychotic episode.  wow.  hit me some more with your fake scare tactics.

also, that under 25 developing brains is for males.  female brains are done a little quicker.  and daily use of any mind altering substance isn't great for a developing brain - however, like with all other meds, sometimes the benefits outweigh the risks for certain conditions. if your son was smoking that much it was probably self medicating something else.  for me it was the anxiety that comes with asd level 1 that i didn't know about - but still treat the same way, but with a crap load of working out thrown in too

I don't think you understand math..  3x more likely is 1 in 7666.  5x more likely is 1 in 4600.

Also, a lot of home growers use pesticides.  That will mess you up too!  Roundup good example.

Didn't say they did.  I'm saying pesticides can be dangerous and cause adverse reactions.  And, if you think your local street dealer cares, lol at you.

Thanks for telling everyone what Roundup is though @.@.

Now, tell us about all the pesticides used to control insects and increase harvest yields.

You aren't contributing anything to the discussion.  You sound like a little kid who just puts down anyone who disagrees with your pov.  Pretty common from potheads.

It should be 100% federally legal and regulated.

Alcohol is worse.

A lot of the complaints about marijuana's side effects are due to the fact that it isn't a legal, regulated industry. Most of the time there are lots of additives, both natural and chemically, found in most street weed. That is where the horror stories come from.

These "state's rights" legalizations are actually bad for the country as a whole, IMHO. Not only is it divisive, but it shifts the criminality of it and, in some cases, actually increases crime.

On the NFL level: Anything that is legal somewhere in the nation should be legal for them to partake in, from supplements (approved FDA ones) to marijuana.
