Torrey Smith - Keep him or cut him?

Hasn't looked great, in fact, hasn't looked good this preseason. 

Played well into the 3rd quarter last week. 

I am starting to wonder....

I’m pretty sure the consensus is cut him. Since we signed Hogan I think the writing has been on the wall.

But Hurney just paid him guaranteed money in May. That is the thing that has me undecided.

You really think Ron is going to cut him, he is getting paid for vet experience. We should have never traded for him.

They like the idea of Torrey Smith on the field and love the presence as a teammate. That will secure a spot.

Isn't it 1m guaranteed, but can save 2m by cutting?

Restructuring his contract gave us the ability to go after and sign McCoy, so I'm good.

Good Point but what if we cut a good WR and lose him off the PS. 

I am not a contracts guy but what did we give Hogan and is he the odd man out?

I don't think it will impact the WR spot, we will have to carry 6.  That will make us thin somewhere else. It makes makes sense to cut him
