What if Burns plays well in preseason, but is shown to look like a rookie once the real games start?  They should give  Burns and the other young guys at least one full season before cutting any vets.  I don't see any major moves coming soon unless there are some injuries.

Given that the 8M saved would go towards absolutely nothing that would make this years team better, this move would make no sense. 

And do we really know what he looks like in coverage or are we just assuming like most of our media members? Also we’ll be in nickel more often than not so it’s not like he’ll be dropping into coverage then anyways.

That maybe the main reason why Mario stays. I will keep on stating hes about to turn 32 and most times its better to part ways with a guy one year earlier than let him stay cause of _______ .

I guess everyone here thinks no question Mario will have a easy 10 sacks this year, losing a step or two could prove otherwise.

Its a young mans league and Mario is about to turn 32.

Remember we are going to be lots of 4 man fronts particularly against teams with good running games and if we get gashed in the running game using 3 man fronts. We went to the 3-4 because we couldn't fine 4-3 DEs, everyone was an OLB. So we wouldn't get rid of the best we have after we took years to develop him. Nah.

At this point, releasing Addison seems to be about as good of an idea as nuking a Hurricane so it doesn’t make landfall in the US.
