Ron’s job is on the line this season.

Most every coach in the NFL is a 2-14 season from being fired.

Here is how I see it:  If Cam goes down, we are better with a conservative, game manager like Allen or Grier because we have 2 solid RBs (CMC, Scarlett fever, in my opinion), a pair of good TEs, and a solid WR corps that can break a game open on a checkdown pass.  We never had that before.

We just played the Pats close when our QBs were terribly ineffective.  Since there are no star backups in the league (Earl Morrall has retired, I think), we need to go into a game management mode.  Develop the young guys.

This is absurd. This is what happens when you keep a coach too long. They get too comfortable. Too content.

It's pretty easy to sit back from a fan perspective and completely disagree with our coaches whom know our team more intimately than we fans could ever!!

And laugh about it!!

Most teams in the NFL are seeking a starting QB--and some Panther fans are griping about developmental, developing, undrafted free agent/third round draft pick players to develop for the sake of developing a backup for developmental purposes.   Perhaps the redundancy will help.

You and panthers55 agree with every thing ron say and do. Take away the 15-1 record, Ron has John Fox record.

Cam Newton came into the Panthers locker room without a walking boot on Sunday. Seemed to.be moving well. Coach Ron Rivera says ‘'so far so good.'' Whether Newton gets on the field Monday will depend on what the medical staff in the morning but so far everything has been positive.

Not at all. I just can't believe some folks like you take everything coaches do and say publically as the gospel. If you watched All or Nothing you can easily see that Ron is doing and saying a lot of things that aren't seen or heard on the news or in interviews.  I just try and be fair to the team,  something you rarely do in between taking shots at Hurney and Ron among others

I’d bet good money a Sean Payton offense minus brees gains more than 29 yards In a  half.

But we got what we got at this point. Roll with it.

What exactly is good or bad money? Feel free to send any you don't like to me.   .

This is why these press conferences, and the presser tweets that fans consume like pez candy, are largely worthless.

I’m not bashing anybody here, it’s a plague around the sports world. Believing too much of anything you hear from a coach in front of reporters is foolish.

I don’t blame the coach. It’s their job to protect their product against outside distractions. And yes, the media can be one of those.
