Looks like Dorian will be borderline Cat5 during landfall

Might not even make landfall in Florida now.  The models seem to be coming into agreement that it wants to buzzsaw up the east coast.

Now it was just some guy in a comment section who said this, but there is supposedly a system over the midwest right now that, assuming Dorian moves slowly enough, might whip it back out into the ocean if it has time to move east.

Looks like Eastern SC and NC will get smacked by Dorian.  Charlotte will just get some light wind gusts.

Yeah it's a great resource to have during hurricane season.  The models he posts are part of what NHC uses to build their track projections.

Models say Dorian will turn east right after touching Charleston.  If that’s the case... Charlotte is good.  If Dorian goes inland... Charlotte will get smacked.

Ventusky adjusted their model... said it will Florida head on.  Will move farther west.

2nd hurricane is already forming off coast of Africa. 60% it will become tropic depression within 5 days
