Well, until Rivera is gone, I'm not so sure that's happening.

Two weeks to prepare against the Panthers is all a good coach needs to outsmart RR.

Rivera should have known the Broncos would target Remmers with Von Miller, etc.  He just watched it the whole game--rarely giving Remmers help.

Shula-Rivera got punked.

So brave

What does that mean?  Mocking his courage behind your laptop this morning?  Seriously?  Man, if I had $50m in the bank and knew that most NFL players develop CTE, I would be gone.  Sure, I love the game--but that is what it is--a game.  Bravery is not an attribute of a game player.  He is 30, smart, and is set for life.  Good for him.

Yeah. Good for him. Terrible for the fans and the franchise who made it so he was able to have 50 mil in the bank.

love negative takes on this from people who sit in an air conditioned room all day for a living

If I just up and quit on my team at my job out of the blue, 2 weeks before a gigantic project was due, where I was the central figure, I think people would be salty with me there too...

I don't blame him.  That is a lot of pain and he probably has 10 or 20 Million sitting in the bank right now so why ?

Over the past four years, his injuries have been brutal and relentless: shoulder sprain, torn cartilage in the ribs, partially torn abdomen, lacerated kidney, concussion, torn labrum in his right shoulder and now the calf and ankle problem that hasn’t healed.

The Colts night game a few yrs ago here in CLT was one of the wildest and rowdiest crowds I’ve ever seen here...it rained and it seemed like the entire stadium had been drinking all day...Gano ties it and then wins it in OT, again in the rain.....and Luck played really good

Never got the hate for the guy. Was never his fault that the NFL christened him as the next coming.

I really feel for the guy. It's easy to sit here behind a keyboard and talk about how soft X player is, but it's crazy the lives, or lack thereof, that these guys live during rehab.

With all of that said,

He’s also not physically capable of contributing anything to that project. If he wasn’t going to play anyhow, he hasn’t done anything but save the team money it would have to pay him on IR.

exactly.

give the team a heads up before the draft at the very minimum. according to the colts, they just found out this week.

luck was very selfish with his decision and i am glad the fans booed. i hope irsay gets back all of the signing bonus money the team is owed as well.
