Who knew professional football was a rough sport? *Shrugs*

Careful, the Luck Fan-boys who want to tenderly massage the Precious Bruises are gonna poo all over you bro, lol.

Oh my gosh! The Precious is retiring after putting millions and millions in the bank! How dare you insult The Precious!

So you watched Colts games and are certain that line was the same amount of trash as the one here? Bc saying that line is worse does not equal this line is good. You're really trying to win this argument, i can tell, but i suppose that's the be expected

Did you watch Colts games and not see Luck run designed run plays?? Because yeah they did and Luck was also doing alot of scrambling as well.. Your assertion in your post is completely WRONG!! Luck would not have fair better here with our lack of weapons and quality Oline play..

His love of cam is borderline psycho stalker creepy. The lengths he goes to pit arguments is fuging weird as hell. Especially for an old man.

This is a no lose situation for the panthers. Pretty predictable. Luck was 90% going on IR again before the season starts. The colts now have 27 million to play with, everyone calling luck out for doing this two weeks before forget it’s a retirements not a release.

why everyone is investing emotion(either side) into is beyond me.

Lol. Seriously. That is the name of the game. They pay millions sometimes hundreds of millions in exchange for using your body up. Its not like they make $11 an hour.

Damn, sho’ is a lot of Luck fan-boys in this thread.

P.S. NOT surprised.

Not only in this thread, but I am shocked at how many non-colts fans are such big fans of luck and are defending his career stats.

I think we both know why Luck is getting such an easy pass for quitting on his team 2 weeks before the season begins...

Say what? Look at the OTs we've fielded during Cam's career. Cam has taken by far more hits than any other QB during his time in the league. We've played the guy through injuries to his throwing shoulder when we were completely out of contention. We have done an absolutely pathetic job of physically taking care of Cam.

This is the truth.  I'm still higher than most on Rivera as a coach, but letting Cam play out the string in 2016 was reckless and in no one's best interest long term.

And Gettleman did as much as anyone too... he cut Jordan Gross' salary and he retired earlier than I think he would have otherwise.

Allowed Byron Bell and Nate Chandler to be our starting OTs one year.

The team certainly hasn't made having an elite Oline in front of Cam a priority...

I do think they are trying harder this year, but I hope it's not too little too late

i wouldn't be surprised to see him involved in the XFL in some capacity. he can't play, the NFL's lawyers would eat them alive. but maybe he'll be a coach or OC or something. this move honestly comes across to me like "my dad told me i'm done playing now." they always seemed to have that sort of relationship.

@TheRumGone

I feel bad for Luck on a football level. He was a really promising QB but the injuries took their toll.

I’m sure he’s had a dozen concussions we don’t even know about. I don’t even want to think what Cam has. I have friends who play rugby, the concussions they take on a regular basis by choice are concerning to say the least.

The Lucks don't need football to be financially safe for the next 10 generations. I can argue that he could actually make just as much money off the field. His dad has made good money and is continuing to make even more (wasn't he part owner or executive in the defunct football league?). Andrew Luck will be able to see his kids and even grand kids graduate from college.

Why would the NFL lawyers eat him alive for being a coach? That makes literally no sense.

He retires, takes his guarantee and frees up his cap space. He wasn’t being a dick. If he was he would have waited to be released.

There were people in this thread calling him a pussy and soft. Really dumb. That’s why you’re reading people reacting.
