Still, Cam was playing like Katharine Hepburn in On Golden Pond there... need to read and move faster. We were playing slow like it was a mid-week practice after a big buffet lunch. Belichick had the Boston Buttheads playing like it was week four and they wanted to take out a rival.

And Cam's pregame attire, speaking of Katherine Hepburn, looks a bit familiar.

The Patriots were flat out trying to make a statement, some of our guys were out there just going through the motions. All too similar to how things transpired against the Bills. Again, why even have your best players out there if you're just running poo basic plays, and not even doing that well?

Snap count bull. Playaction but slow to react TE. I have never cared much for Manhertz and agree is to what others say I don't know what the coaching staff sees. Part reason we loss in Superbowl him, tolbert, remmers, and fozzy half blocking. He should have been gone when tolbert left. Holding on to vets that yes know the plays but cant perform the plays.

I'm not saying it was acceptable, but if you watch the play, it does look as if Manhertz was expecting a run there.  He looked more concerned about setting up to prevent pursuit, and then looked at Cam and realized he still had the ball.  At which point it was too late.
