I have followed this team since Carolina was awarded the franchise

And I have never, even 1-15, felt as bad about this team as I do now. JR was known as a good owner that made some mistakes but you still had hope. Yeah we were young and had a couple so so to bad coaches (Seifert!) but again, hope.

Now we have 'it is what it is' being his blah, dead man walking self keeping a QB at the helm that has no business being a starter any more. We have Hurney keeping Peppers due to ego and trading away our future picks. The Richardson boys have been canned...dogs and cats living together....Mass hysteria!!!!

This thing has gotten so bad it is going to take a cleaning from top to bottom to fix.

Yeah it certainly isn't the brightest days for Panther nation and it isn't just the play on the field but the boneheaded moves by our front office that could set our franchise back for years to come. Some teams keep trying to find a decent quarterback for years and I hope we don't have to go for a long period of time like that in the coming seasons.

The sky is surely not falling and we are not in as bad shape as the hysterics think. Sure Fox looks to be gone. Don't know about Hurney at this point and Jake is surely on his last leg. But if anyone remembers Atlanta 2 years ago versus where they are today, it is clear that things can turn around both positively or negatively in a hurry. We could all be here next year talking about how things have progressed over the past 12 months from where we were at this point.

Atlanta turned around thanks to a high draft pick on a QB. We traded our future high pick away.

Marty Hurney's trade for Everette Brown has completely f**ked this franchise for the next few years. What a shame, the next GM better be amazing.

Thats crazy. The only way one trade could screw the team is if its a Ricky Williams or Herschel Walker type of deal. And we still don't how the deal will work out. Its very rare that a defensive lineman plays well in his rookie season. Just look at Charles Johnson. He is in year 3, and just now starting to show what he can do. Or Mario Williams, or Michael Strahan, or Bruce Smith or any number of other defensive linemen. None of them started showing their stuff until their second or third year.

Wrong again. They turned it around with a new coach, new GM and new philosophy. Getting Ryan was only a piece of the puzzle not the main reason they turned things around. And if we wanted a 1st round quarterback, we could easily do it.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
