Bright light in a dark night, this was just unfair

If there is one thing Hurney can do,

Its always hitting 1st rounders out of the park

As some draft experts said "how do you even let that happen, letting him fall to 16"?

Nothing the guy could do.  Like one of the comments said, he jump cuts like a freaking RB

No one is going to give 94 credit for his stunt here? Obada looked like he belongs as well.

The rest of the team...not so much.

just read an article..on that play, Efe saw it ahead of time and called Brian's name.  Efe said he knew he had to shoot the gap and tie up both OL.  Brian knew what he was doing and you saw the result.

Good communication.  Efe should make the team.  Burns more advanced in his game than I even hoped for.

Efe has impressed me in each game thus far. He isn't a traditional 3-4 defensive end but he appears to have the knowledge, strength, desire, and ability to move to OLB/DE in multiple defense situations and could move inside. He is supremely athletic and with Burns, Haynes, KK, and McCoy, that could be devastating.

Also, they practice this stunt. I saw a clip of GMC and KK doing the same stunt in a drill early on in camp. Worked like a charm.

It's been a long time since we've had a pass rusher that could consistently affect the game...

We have saw glimpses of that from several guys in the subsequent years (Charles Johnson, Greg Hardy, Mario Addison), but never anything sustained.

What's interesting is that the best year we had have in recent memory in terms of rushing the passer (2013) was when these above guys were our top 3 DE's.

I'm hoping that the combo of Addison, Irvin, Burns, and Haynes can approach this level, especially with McCoy, Short, and hopefully Obada providing some interior push

Personnel considered we should have one of the better pass rushes in the NFL this season, hopefully it all comes together Week 1 and on.
