Make a trade for a QB?

Cam Newton looks likely to miss some games this year.  Allen isn't going to be leading us to any wins except against backups.  Grier is a long ways away.  The team needs a veteran QB to come in when Newton gets hurt.  Any QBs on the market that could be had for a reasonable offer?  I figure they'll become more expensive as the season goes on and other teams face QB injuries.

whatever you think about the backups, no one is going to come in after week 3 of the preseason and learn the offense and get anything working with the receivers

If Cam is truly done, worst case scenario (not saying he is but in the worst world) I’d rather have Grier do his best Jimmy Clausen impression and get us the #1 overall pick and a new coaching staff
