Kraft was married and his wife died. He's over 70. I'm not sure you can call him a womanizer.

And Chung may have had cocaine, or he may not have. Field tests for cocaine are notoriously unreliable (see case involved Georgia Southern QB Shai Werts for reference).

He had it in his possession so there is no or he may not have. I did delete that comment about Kraft.

He definitely had it. The “raid” was in June and the indictment was on August 8th so they have had plenty of time to confirm it was indeed cocaine.

The way it was found was apparently  his alarm got set off so the cops searched the house for possible B&E so he must have had it just laying out when the cops were there which seems really smart.

Not if he gets any jail time from this.

I’d be shocked if he does. He’ll have a very good lawyer and it’s a first offense. He’ll get a fine and some probation or maybe a suspended sentence. NFL will suspend a couple games but that won’t be until next year after his court date.

The article says "he was not arrested at the time".

What's up with that?  Cops catch you with a bunch of blow and then decide to do something about it a month later?

This will be a nuisance for Chung but he will beat it.

Likely didn't know the law.  And like I said, it will likely be dropped, unless there was enough there to get into the sales and distribution angle.

Generally speaking I'm pro-cop but I've never known them to let "not knowing the law" stand in the way of an arrest.  Arrest now and litigate later is the standard M.O. from my experience.

Probable cause for entry would be my guess.  As well as him maybe not being in the residence would be a little tougher to prove it was actually "his".

Remember, these guys have attorneys on speed dial.
