You would think Gano had the resume of Adam Vinatieri or something with the sentimentality displayed over the possibility of another kicker outperforming him. Did the Patriots sit around like a bunch of sad Michael Jordan memes when the time came to move on from Vinatieri? Last I checked they calmly drafted Gostkowski in the 4th round and then they went on to win 3 more Super Bowls.
