Would McCown be a better option than what we have now?

at this point he couldn't be any worse than the other backup options.

i always liked the guy and was hoping he'd be able to stick around back in the day.

If Cam goes down, McCown isn't saving us.

We considered ourselves to have a good back up in Derek Anderson, and we regularly lost games when he started.

I assume you mean Trevor Lawrence... but I'm good with Tua.... herbert is in this draft and would have been qb 1 last season,frohm is also intriguing.. that's not even to comment on a girth of other option I would take before Grier and the inevitable riser who will surprise us all this season. I think I would take my chances on this qb class instead of trying to land the golden goose that is Lawrence.
