PFF - Cam sucks, Panthers more likely to finish last in NFCS

I don’t know about any of that, either way. But I do know the only credible sources posted on here are the ones that tell folks what they WANT to hear, no anything to do with the truth.

There's a significant difference between PFF's player evaluation of draft prospects who haven't played a down in the NFL like you mentioned versus active player rankings and predicting level of success of players returning from injury or surgery.

Chris Collinsworth invested big money in them and they are are affiliated with main stream media now. Basically sell outs.

I don't blame them at all for that.   I do think they're much more full of themselves now, as opposed to when they started, but don't begrudge anybody making tons of money.

This should be expected. To those of watching closely the team and Cam were a shoulder injury away from success, but if you weren't it just validates the popular narrative that he isn't a good passer. He's never been given the benefit of doubt and it's certainly not going to start now after going 7-9.

Objectively Cam Newton is a better QB than Mariota or Winston.

It can not be argued unless done in a devil's advocate/compulsive contrarian sort of way.  No honest observer can look at those 3 QBs and pick anyone other than Cam as the #1.  Its bad faith and not worth the time and serves only to scratch that itch for the liar that made this trash.

...oops, sorry kinda blacked out for sec.

I think the argument can be made right now Cam isn't #1 because of that shoulder. Last time we saw him he couldnt throw a pass over 30 yards. That's a HUGE deal. Talent wise, Cam has those 2 all day long, but I would reserve my opinion until we see Cam about 10 games in and how that shoulder is really doing.

Wait all you like.  I know what Ive seen, I know the issues, I know the risks.  Without reservation Cam Newton is head and shoulders (pun intended) above those 2.

Football is a much more enjoyable experience when you don't watch any of the 943 NFL talking head shows found on TV or online. Just wait til 1:05 on Sunday afternoon, turn on your TV and watch. Trust me, what you see and hear with your own eyes and ears is far more accurate than anything some dipshit TV personality who watched 10 minutes of highlights tells you to believe.

When PFF was propping up our 2019 draft class, they were the standard for football analysis. Now, they know nothing again. That seems about right for around here..

Or....there are different opinions from different people. I’ve never said anything other than pff is trash, no matter whether they’re praising or condemning Panthers players. Some people defend them, some don’t. Around here isn’t a single hive mind with one viewpoint

Or it’s the same posters using PFF as a legit source for one thing, and then calling it garbage when PFF says something they don’t agree with. Never said you, or anyone specifically. If you took it personally...oh well.

Around here is the viewpoint of many of our “hall monitors” losing their minds if you give an honest opinion that doesn’t 100% agree with everything the team does.

They didn't have any form of control over that game for one second.  What a magical season that was.

That was the most incredible live sporting event I have ever been a part of.  Truly magical.
