I'd play him a couple series in the 3rd game and sit him as soon as he gets a score.  Game speed is different than practice speed.

Wonder if the 18 Rams had any influence on this. Sat every meaningful player the whole preseason and won the NFC. Knowing Ron, probably not.

Im cool with it. They just had a joint practice with this team, and if the starting o line for the season wasnt gonna be out there tonight no reason to play Cam against this buffalo defense. Matt Ryan got killed last night, no reason to take a chance with cam.

As much as I would love a 2 game preseason in the future NFL, keeping key starters out of evaluation scrimmages is the next best thing.
