One concerning note after hearing the Bills slant from joint practice

Voth did an article on it a couple years ago. Cam watching replays of the previous play on the video boards was named as the biggest issue. Cam has also said in a press conference he sometimes stumbles on playcalls in the huddle.

This is a coach thing not a Cam thing. If it was Cam he would struggle with the no huddle not be better in it. It’s Ron wanting to keep the defense rested

Uh no. Do you watch the games? Every game Cam is looking to the sideline asking them to hurry up.

I have seen this during our pathetic 2 minute offense, that has to be the worst in the whole league.

If you have any old games, watch Cam during the huddle til he gets set. Its like hes doing on purpose, cause it happens early/late game. Hes one of the best at the fake Snap too, but that doesnt matter when the clock is at 1-3 seconds at.... READDDDY...SeT.

Just questioning their motivations for doing that. What he said is that Cam has the football patience of Bobby Boucher Jr.

Overreacting would be if it happened a couple times during a particular season.

This has been going on for a while now, and anyone that knows football knows it's an easy fix.

It got us a 15-1 record and a SB appearance in 2015. How quickly they forget.

Relax!

Wow. It was 2 scripted practices and various drills between two teams that will play each other tomorrow. If Norv had any sense, what he runs in the game won't be the plays they ran against the Bills in practice. Yeah it is preseason but this is a battle between the mentor and the student. You know that McDermott wants to win badly given if we play them again it will be the Super Bowl and Buffalo won't be toppling New England this year. So making so much based on a Buffalo podcast is a little overboard. Let see if it is an issue with Cam Friday. After that it might not matter unless we get critical injuries. Knock.on wood, we have largely escaped them so far. If Allen or Grier are starting it better be once we have the division sewn up and we are resting our starters.

Well, I hate to disagree, but there were several instances where timeouts were burned in the most egregious of situations. At one point in the second half of the Tampa game at home, I believe they called all three of their timeouts on one series.

Wasn’t there a  clock / game management coach hired for these types of things

I thought they were doing this on purpose, mainly to rest the D.

Cam sure does take along time going form a knee to the QB spot, maybe he should remain standing.

I remember an article from Cam’s 2nd or 3rd year, he noticed that the opposing D had noticed he took a knee in the huddle when he was tired, stood in the rest of the game. He decided then to take a knee every huddle to not show that tell... just saying....
