@TheBlue Ayy, I've got some numbers to back me up:

Two QBs have the below statlines for passing:

QB2 looks like he had a waaaaaaaay better year fantasy wise. BUT WAIT! QB1 also has rushing stats:

That Put's QB1's total points at 310 vs. the great passing season that QB2 had at 300. 

For context, those numbers for QB1 are Cam's average stats across a season. Meaning he AVERAGEs a fantasy output of 310 pts per year.

For further context, 310 points from a QB would rank that QB at position 5th in 2014, 5th in 2015, 4th in 2016, 2nd in 2017, and 7th in 2018. 

For Further Further context, Cam has ranked 3rd, 4th, 3rd, 17th, 1st, 18th 2nd, and 13th, each season he's been in the league for an average finishing position of 7th. You can see each year he was injured, because each year he has been hurt, he hasn't been a top 5 fantasy QB.

Basically what I'm saying is it's an odd year, draft Cam in your fantasy leagues bros.

This is very true. You have to wonder though with how good CMC is especially in short yardage(rushing and short passing game) that he doesn’t siphon from cams numbers that he usually gets historically

I mean, from a fantasy standpoint Carolina loves to spread the ball around so I wouldn’t  expect elite FANTASY numbers outside anyone named Christian. 

 

Saying we are lacking offensive weapons on the other hand is just lazy.

Wasn’t disagreeing with you brother! More my misunderstanding thinking we were talking about pure passing numbers and not just fantasy production. That’s on me. Like I said in my other post, I do wonder how much cmc will vulture cams goal line tds simply to keep him healthy. You overall you are right.

Oh I didn't think it was a personal slight or anything, I'm just big into fantasy, had my draft last night, and it was an excuse to crunch some numbers because I've got the itch.

I used to be big into fantasy as well but my drive for football took a serious hit after the robbery in the super bowl. Hasn’t been the same for me since

according to Pro Football Reference;

2015 #5 overall, top QB

2016 #84, 18th QB

2017  #23. 2nd QB

2018  #79, 12th QB

 

With our up one year, down the next trend as a team and his health looking up I would take him extremely high in the FF draft this year.

My fanaticism for the Panthers took a hit during the Super Bowl but my love for Fantasy just increased. When the panthers aren't doing well I tend to take refuge in my fantasy teams. It's my own personal way of making sure a team I follow actually does well year in and out.

I can see that. I have a friend who is a fan of the redskins but cares more about fantasy than the team. I find that off. I guess when your team consistently sucks it will do that to you

He also does actually have better weapons this year too. If Olsen can stay healthy even more so.
