I wish the answer was no one, but considering the Super Bowl is the biggest television event of the year, the reality is that a good many of the viewers are probably casual fans at most and are primarily tuning in for the spectacle more so than the actual game

Unless the Panthers are playing, I have almost 0 desire to watch the SB live. I'll watch the highlights after. I admit it was probably worth it to watch the Falcons collapse live, but it was definitely worth it to watch without the commercial interruptions.

I went through the list and until the mid '80's the halftime show was nobody. Marching bands and up with people. Since then they seem to rotate between trendy and generic. Generic meaning songs that you know if you are 60 or 25.

As far as generic, I see the Eagles missing and maybe Bon Jovi. Taylor swift seems like a safe pick.

They should go back to the marching bands. It was better when they spent halftime talking about the game.

jay-Z...really?...guess pitbull and the rest will be all the halftime "entertainment" we ever see from now on...that is until the NFL watches their ratings tank and ad $$ discenigrate

really? what makes you say that.

It is almost like you don't realize Jay-Z is married to Beyonce and knows a lot more than just about rap music.

When going through the deep shuffle on the playlist I still to this day love that album Jay-Z did w/ Linkin Park.  That was awesome.

Awkwardly littering gifs of Jack Nicholson from A Few Good Men is a very good way to show where your bias in this discussion stems from and why the sight of an NFL player peacefully protesting has you seething with anger.

@KillaCamNewton come get your uncle.

The truth would smash right into you and all you can do come up with the race card to counter it with a lame response. Oh and by the way you are the biggest bias troll in this forum with every nonsense post you make. Posting without properly thinking it through is not good for you.

To late my friend... those days are over...

watching sports without politics is actually pretty easy.   It is watching sports pundits on TV, reading twitter, reading sports news, talking on message boards, Facebook, etc that really adds the politics.

I mean maybe it was mentioned Reid knelt once or twice on a real broadcast last year? But just watching football games? You can easily do that still IMO.  To the same degree you always could.

Reid is a moron and has been a bit of a distraction. Hopefully his play on the field can outweigh all that though. I’ve heard good things about his coverage this TC and it’s his first year with a full offseason here. Going to love the attitude in our secondary this year with him, Boston and Jackson.

Not 1 person who poo'd this post made it past those 4 words.

Crossing my fingers for a Tool Halftime show - what with the new album and everything.

I know it will never happen, but I can dream.

They'd only get to play a half of one of their Homer-esque epic poems.

I'd still watch the poo out of it tho.

He's a racist and this is his way of dogwhistling about black music
