Well there goes the halftime shows.  They will be filled with nothing but anti-white, anti-american, anti-Trump liberals screaming social injustice in every note.

Not to mention Country and Rock being banned from performing in the Super Bowl.

Dude... There hasn't been a relevant "Rock" headliner at the Super Bowl since U2 in 2002.

All other rock performances have been older bands brought on because they are easily digestible to a mass audience like The who, Paul McCartney, the rolling stones, etc.. Over the past decade we haven't seen the Foo fighters, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, A7X, etc. etc. It's been a showcase for popular music that casts the widest net for years.

His final season through 12 games was 18 total tds, 4 int. with 2700 total yards. People were talking about it was his best stretch of games throwing wise in his entire career.

his career stats are 72 total tds to 30 picks  14,571 total yards through 69 games played out of 96 games throughout his career.

Kaepernick is not an elite throwing QB but you can’t tell me that he doesn’t deserve to be on an nfl team when you see some of these abysmal backups who have more int. then td passes get jobs as backups.

About Kaepernik--As a player, he had been figured out--he struggled to throw across his body, he had accuracy issues, and he was a runner. Make him roll to his left.

His passing percentage was below 60%.

Having said that, should he be in the league based on his talent alone--yes.

Here is my take on the whole ordeal:  Both sides are wrong.

1.  You do not force a person to stand for a flag that represents freedom.  Freedom should include kneeling in public.

2.  These cameras were not pointing at you so you could promote your political agenda.  The owner of the company you work for would rather you play football than pull off stunts that cause him to lose money.

So if I own a billion dollar company and there is a player who is good enough to increase my fan base by 10% but his antics decrease the fan base by 30%, then he costs me 20% of my potential income.  Furthermore, the player wants a salary in the $30m range.  Sorry---that does not sound like a sweet deal and I tell the GM to pass.

Kaepernik has a right to kneel and I support him and his reasons for doing so.  The owner has a right to hire people that help earn money, not lose it.  The owner did not create social injustice.

Rosa Parks sat on a bus and became a legend.  Buses were where the injustice was occurring, so the act matched the setting.  A football field where black athletes are revered and making millions may not be the place where the message is clarified.  Kaepernik's heart is in the right place, but his protest wasn't.  Hold a rally, go on talk shows--use your celebrity to promote this passion, but do not do it in a manner that hurts the same system that gave you fame.

Just my 2 cents again.

It's really weird how you'll put the onus on Kaepernick because you perceive him to be seeking the cameras to "promote" his "political agenda" while bafflingly defending a league comprised of billionaires who compare players to inmates and who have taken large sums of money from the government to promote their brand of patriotism.

This post is shite.

the small caveat youre forgetting to acknowledge is that when you pay a billion dollars for a franchise you are allowed to call the shots. kaepernick is an employee, the owner has every right to tell him how he wants him to conduct his business. if Kaep doesnt like it he can work elsewhere. that goes for literally every other job in America

There was "ONE" individual that made the comment comparing players to inmates so you need to get it right. You cannot say all billionaires in the NFL are involved in this.

Well our owner happens to be one of those billionaires, yet he has made it quite clear how he feels, and clearly Reid seems to have his full support.

If you as a fan have an issue with this, you are welcome to follow another franchise with an owner more in line of your way of thinking. Maybe Jerry Jones Cowboys would be a better fit for you? Deuces.

the idea that jay-z, or anyone else for that matter, needs colin kaepernicks approval for anything is hilarious.

i fully support the message kaep was trying to send, and you cant deny it has brought awareness and made way more players involved.

that being said, i am so over everyone trying to pretend he's jackie robinson or muhammad ali. kaep was in the league for 4 years and mysteriously didnt have any issue with police brutality or racism until the week he got benched. he knew his career was fading and did something bold and controversial to stay relevant - its crazy how this doesnt get talked about more

i think the biggest reason he isnt on a team is because as you can see, his movement has polarized everything. if youre a white player and dont support him youre a racist or insensitive and if youre a black player and dont wanna kneel or talk about race youre a sellout (Cam said something similar in 2016 and got roasted for it) Now apparently performing in the Super Bowl or working with the NFL makes you a sellout too - Gladys Knight got ridiculed for performing the opening in the Super Bowl in her home town for gods sake

This.

god you are such a puss lmao. im not gonna follow another team A. because i have zero issues with Tepper and Reid and because B. even if i did have a problem i'm not a snowflake who would let something small like that make me not support them.

i have zero issues with what Reid or Kaep were doing, my issue is with small minded people like you thinking the owners are racist slave owners for making decisions they feel are best for their investment and business. whether you agree or not, when you spend a billion dollars for a team you have every right to make those decisions

Awkwardly littering gifs of Jack Nicholson from A Few Good Men is a very good way to show where your bias in this discussion stems from and why the sight of an NFL player peacefully protesting has you seething with anger.

@KillaCamNewton come get your uncle.
