Olsen being Olsen

What’s been lost this preseason in the emergence of Samuel and Moore is our ole faithful Olsen.  Man if he can ball like this for 16 games we will have weapons galore.

Good to see he had a great day!! When I saw him last week he was dropping everything.. but it’s preseason.. must be getting his timing back ;)

Cool.  Kid is solid.

Olsen looks fit.  Maybe a bit lighter than before.  Probably bodes well for the integrity of his foot.

It's seems like getting a solid season from Olsen is almost gravy at this point.  And that's not a knock on him.

Just the fact that the roster has been filled out with a lot more capable weapons during the last couple of seasons where he has missed so much time.  The receiving corp is remarkable better than pre-2017, the TE group is more well-rounded (although I think Dickson was a better TE2 than a lot of people wanted to give him credit for), and CMC is the most dynamic RB we have ever had.

Olsen has repeatedly stated that he expects to play well provided he can stay healthy.  And the issue with his foot was certainly not an issue of his own conditioning, just bad luck unfortunately.

I don't think Olsen is going to be a 1K receiver at this point (although I'm not going to completely rule it out), but that in and of itself is a better thing for the team overall.

I am however excited about the potential and incorporation of 2 TE sets with Olsen & Thomas.

A 12 offensive formation with Olsen/Thomas/CMC/Samuel/Moore is exciting to think about.  That grouping can beat a defense on every level of the field.

What's interesting is that so many of us were saying that about Curtis last season, coming off his bad ankle injury. I certainly didn't count on Cutis to contribute a whole lot and then was so thrilled when he did.  I hope we'll have the same pleasant surprise with Olsen this year!

I think Hogan may be the most overlooked pass catcher of the pre season myself.

Probably to most defenses too worrying about CMC, Samuel, DJ, Greg, being the 5th option means you have a lot less coverage coming your way.
