Lets say Sly turns out to be another Butkus(or whatever his name is) and he is traded to Jets and becomes a star kicker and we yet again give away a good player which is the dumbest thing to ever do. Unfortunately that is what our GM does and with a cost of losing a possible star player.

Heard the same poo when Butkner was here. Gano lost a lot of dn important games than he's won. It's idiotic to think he won't do the same AGAIN..

I do not keep my pulse on the pool of available kickers, but it seems to me that at least two teams will be in the market for kicker - the Bears and Jets. If Slye continued the great work in preseason a trade market could well develop given that a trade would be the only way to guarantee that you get a player who would otherwise be cut.

I do wonder about Gano's injury.
