Little

He got better as the game went on.  My concern for him this year is his play strength.  Early in the first qtr he got shoved back into the qb.  That will come over time but maybe not this year.  Overall he wasn’t that bad.

But look at it this way.   He ain’t Speedbump McGee.  And for that I am thankful.

He is going to be fine in time.  Blitzing him and Daley during the first preseason game is a dick move by the Bears---OK, you fooled a couple rookies--hope the DC got a contract extension.

I was happy to see how vanilla we were on D.

He reminds me a bit of current Saints LT Armstead and how terrible he looked in his rookie year. Hopefully Little can turn out as well as Armstead has since then...

Same thing with Matthews in Atlanta, looked totally over matched as a rookie and was really good his second year. Especially considering he is from an NFL family that shows how hard it is.

Honestly, and this is in the same vein of "Rivera Iced Kicker to Help Bears Evaluate Him" or whatever....I prefer preseason Ds throw as much at him as possible.  I want him to see those blitz plays.  I want that experience in a game time situation where there is no actual pressure.

I'm no expert but he had a couple bad pressures but otherwise held up fine.

Not bad at all for your first NFL experience ever.

We knew Little had the measurables to be an NFL tackle. Now it's up to him to correct what he needs to improve on.

Further, I don't see any reason Little shouldn't get the vast majority of snaps this preseason. Experience for him and rest for Darryl

Has Darryl ever played LT before?  Shouldn't he get some reps in a real game just to see if we need to switch moton over to LT again before the season starts?

I'm sure hell play third preseason first half with the rest of the starters

    • Hang in there, my friend.  I think Tepper has learned he needs to be hands off the football operations.  I'm anxious to see what we do the rest of the season.  Have faith.

    • i felt good for those few games that bryce didn't look like the worst in the league. all that fell apart again sunday.  i'm borderline just bailing on it all. i've been hanging on by a thin thread for several years. i mean it's not even fun to watch any football right now.
