I had a bookie back home. If I need need to place a local bet I'll see him. I appreciate it though.

US doesn’t have local places to place bets?  We got them practically on every corner.  Govt makes a killing off them too.

the swing can be substantial. As I posted above all M life properties were 60 to 1 this past Monday.  M life (Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Aria, etc).  The independent dent Cosmopolitan was only 30 to 1. Avoid Caesar’s properties.  Just out of bankruptcy and are being sold.

and as you know the closer to season open, futures bets odds decrease

Agree to 99% of the above. I’ve found caesars to have better odds than MGM.  The caesars buyout by Eldorado shouldn’t affect any futures bets.

Shouldn’t.  But it has as far as odds.  That was my only point.

exactly 40-1 I did the same thing. If we make it to the SB I might try and swing it knowing that a victory would basically pay for my trip.

I haven't visited since the eldorado announcement, but not happy if its that dramatic a change. Agree about Cosmo -- great place to hang, stay, eat, drink --- but sportsbook doesn't have competitive odds vs elsewhere. I found Wynn was more-or-less comparable to MGM. Westgate is just.... too far... for me to invest the time into going.
