Duke Johnson to the Texans

Several posters thought he'd be an ideal back up for CMC, but it won't be happening.

would have rather them traded for Melvin Gordon, based only on the fact that he is gonna be one of my keepers in FFB and I don’t want to have keep a guy who might not play.

Duke can play his ass off, he got marked as a third down back but he and CMC are the same size so i dont know. all that said a 4th rounder seems like a lot for a career backup

why would they trade for MG if they have Lamar Miller?

Hold out hope he'd go to a team with a better line than the Texans.

I was a big fan of this kid while he was at the U. Honestly, ?I think he is exactly what the Texans need. Great deal for both teams.

As a Duke Johnson owner in my Dynasty League, I approve of this trade.

Probably so they can have more of a receiver RB. Miller is a workhouse, but doesn't do much in the passing game. Johnson is perfect for that role. Plus this is his last year in Houston.

As Panthers fans well know, if you have Matt Kalil playing LT, you better have a legitimate immediate dump off option for your QB.

One of the things I like best about fantasy is that it makes you pay attention to the league as a whole and get a pulse on who is playing well and for whom. You become more aware of the weapons that certain teams have because of it, and you aren't honed in solely on the Panthers. 

BUT I still have CMC, Samuel and Moore on my dynasty league because I'm a homer like that.

Duke will do well in Houston. They need a guy like him and he never got a decent chance in Cleveland, just like about every player who ended up there.

And yeah, I really think Cleveland will crash and crash hard this year.
