Matt Moore "Not Disappointed"

I just heard on WFNZ --

Brett Jensen said the first thing he asked Matt Moore after practice today was if he was disappointed that he wasn't named starter, and he said "No"

I want this guy to start but that is weak man...

What do you expect him to say? "Im better than Jake and the dumbass coach just doesnt realise it". Yeah that would get him the starting job.

Moore already said he would be ready......but he was 100% behind Delhomme. Word for word out of the "What a Back QB Should Say 101 Handbook".

Moore and everyone on that team knows Jake is gonna be yanked in AZ. He may start again the following week but he will play poor enough they have to pull him like in Philly.

No player on any team would saying thing bad about their team. The NFL is one big puppet show. Every player in the league is going to do what he is told to do by the league and the team. If not a fine will be coming from head of the league. Larry Johnson of the chiefs is a example of that. Larry says a few bad words in the media and on tweeter and now his days with the chiefs are over. Plus could be fined aswell be Roger. Most players are never going to speak out neg. about their coach are team most of the time. Because if they express their opinions. They know they will get in trouble for that. No I would want him to say something like " Yes I am disappointed, I come out and work hard every week, in fact I have been disappointed every week that I have been here and not been given the chance to start. I play football for a living and want to be on the field doing so."

As far as I am concerned if the guy doesn't want to start, then why in hell would we ever start him......:banghead:

Personally, I'm not all that impressed with any of the QBs on our roster. McCown was probably the best behind Delhomme (if not about the same). He's injured.

So, that leaves us with little or no options.

He doesn't necessarily have to badmouth anyone or even question the decision but at least have some balls man. I've heard plenty of guys in this same situation say things along the lines of 'Yeah, you always want to be in there. You're disappointed anytime you don't get a start.'

Except what Steve Smith says right, I call BS he's allowed to say he was hoping to start there is nothing wrong with that. Face it Moore isn't starter material and from what Jensen said his body language didn't suggest that he really cared if he was starting or not. I agree with the original poster thats extremely weak. Your in the perfect position to make a name for yourself yet you don't even care. Of course he's not going to say Jake sucks I should be starting but at least show your let down that your not getting a shot....

LOL at everyone that's actually getting mad that Moore didn't get mad/upset that he wasn't named the starter. If you're not a super star, you don't get away bad mouthing you coaches or teammates (which is what it would've been had he said that he thought he should be starting over Jake)
