The Real Question

A.J. Feely must be even suckier than Moore if he's number 3. I don't know what's going on in Fox's head, but this crap has to end. I'm sorry but for the first time I find my self rooting against Jake, because this crap is ridiculous.

it's not about matt moore.

it's everything about john fox and his loyalty to jake.

we could have tom brady on the bench but fox wouldnt' care.

he will do what he wants to whether it makes sense or not. it is what it is. fox can not remove his head from his rectum.

If Fox benches Jake he admits he was wrong and shouldn't have even went into the season with Jake. He's just hoping Jake comes out and has one of his "good" games so it'll make him less of a failure. I think Jake is actually Fox's son, it's the only explaination.

On a related note, my buddy just picked up Arizona's defense off fantasy football FA list, he's pretty excited being guarenteed 2-3 picks, and maybe a fumble.

But do you think that John Fox cares about Jake Delhomme more than his own job??? He honestly thinks that hes our best chance...At this point this is more about Fox's job than Jakes.

Moore having success proves Fox can't make the right calls. Moore proved Fox was wrong in 07.

Don't think for one second Fox won't ride Jake all year...tell the Big Cat he lost his backup QB and had no choice but to stick w/ Jake.

Fox going to Moore now and Moore performing well....would just be more proof of his glaring flaw as a coach. If he sticks w/ Jake and doesnt go to Moore....he can just say his evaluation was correct....and there is nothing to prove otherwise.

fox is unwilling to change his mind because that implies weakness and that you might have been wrong about something.

Agreed. Fox is just to afraid to try something that might actually work for him. Fox knows his coaching job is most likly over. Right now there is other teams out there that will be wanting a new HC next year. But fox is not making himself look good for another HC job for next year. Fox is just making himself look like a moron in front of the Nation right now by keeping with Jake as starter. Fox job is done for. :auto:

    • I don't think a month goes by that I don't stop for a second and feel hatred for Fitt. Brought trashed QBs here, kept a bad roster 24/7, passed on 2 first round picks and a second round pick for Burns, traded a generational RB, and spent the farm on a runty QB who has bad mechanics and a noodle arm. And I'm not even listing everything he screwed up. And I said he was screwing up at the time, not hindsight 20/20. He was AWFUL. Now look what we have to show for it. A bottom 3 team and a QB who only looks good against teams that are somehow worse than us. I could walk away from this franchise for the next two seasons and I'd miss nothing notable or worthwhile. We had Fitt lovers on this board praising him, but I'm not going to all those fans out. It's water under the bridge now. It's over. Aim for a turnaround 2026 once the roster is rebuilt.
    • I don't think he was too small. He was about 220 and they played him there alot his rookie year when he was 2nd place DROY. Maybe another 10 pounds would have helped, but not absolutely necessary.
    • A slightly heavier Chinn would have been a GREAT Will LB in a 4-3.  Free to chase the ball?  He'd be a monster in the run game, and good enough to cover most RB's out of the backfield.  I'm glad he's finding success now in Washington, he's a good dude.
