Javien Elliott About to take Corn Elder Spot

Elliott could have been a good player on a bad defense. 

I like what he's been doing these last couple of days.

Competition is good. If Elder is the back up and Gaulden can be another option after that is not so bad. Can't have superstars at every position. I still think Jackson should cover the super fast slot receivers because of his speed and put Cocktrell on the outside at those moments.

Elder and Elliott have been competing for the small nickel package spot. Gaulden plays in the big nickle or Buffalo package.

I never had any high hopes for Elder.  Couldn't figure out why everyone here was on his nuts so much.

A percentage of posters were criticizing the fact he wasnt getting playing time. Now they criticize the fact he was drafted. It's the same people saying these things.

Every fan for every team as high expectations for late round picks if they work out cool if not no big deal...unless hes drafted 1 pick ahead of Antonio Brown or something

Elliott played well against Cam in 2018, got a pick. Has also picked him off a couple times in camp. Definitely has to lose this starting spot....

Got our no. 1 WR in the 2nd, our starting RT in the 3rd, our jaw dropping RB in the 1st when everyone was against it, our long term kicker in the 7th (that Hurney F'd up), and our starting FB in the 6th.

Moton was drafted in the second.  He was the third player we picked, but we had 2 seconds.

My bad, you are correct.  Very last pick in the 2nd, after DG sniped that one for Kony Ealy and a 3rd.  Man what a draft.
