I doubt Cam will get targeted and hit hard in the 1st preseason game. If you don't want him to play in the 1st one, you  definitely shouldn't want him to play in 2 and 3.

Not the first game. 2nd game for a couple series and 3rd game for half the game and that's it.

He needs game reps. Everyone does, idealistically. But I would do it against a defense that doesn’t have a player of Mack’s caliber. 

A series in game 2 and and a quarter in game 3 should suffice.

I would let him hand off for 1 series...maybe a few passes. But, I trust the coaches with what he does.

If hes 100,000,000% healthy and cleared by the doctors, sure. I hope this doesnt draw the insane cam fans out, but he needs the reps. Still learning O, new throwing motion, new C & WRs, etc etc.

I don't think we should play him in this week's game but the next three, he should. Even if it is a series or two. He has to get touched eventually and players have said it themselves that they have to get used to getting hit/hitting players again after a long offseason.

If the OL was more of a known quantity then yes, but as they stand right now? Absolutely not.

If he's healthy, Cam needs as many reps as he can get up to the point of making him *not* healthy.
