For safety, Pat Terrell? Deon Grant? Chad Cota? Godfrey was absolutely terrible. Also Sam Mills was a sentimental choice. He didn't play OLB. Kevin Greene should've been there or Will Witherspoon. 

Hell even staying recent, I'd put Coleman over Godfrey too.  At least Coleman had 1 good season.

I know this is a long range view type of award. And I don’t disagree with most of these choices. I will say this: in 2005, Ken Lucas had the most dominant season at CB of any Panthers corner I’ve ever watched. Norman would be a close second from 2015. Lucas was an absolute animal in the run game. And he picked off critical passes in both playoff wins. 

Hard to argue with Chris Gamble and his longevity, though.

Coming from within the organization, we will never get a good list that doesn't involve emotions or other agendas.

^This.  I largely agree with the rest of the list, but that one boggles the mind.  Can't really complain though, one bad selection out of all the votes cast. It could have been worse.
