Wow...  was caught off guard by this.  Was this the earliest fanfest ever?  I never thought we had it this early.

Also, that deep ball from Cam looked t be at least 45 yards.  Anyone there know exactly how far it was?  Beautiful throw.

About 50 yards in the air, and 70 on the play - according to Voth.

So I was right in that enzone where he caught that. I kid you not he beat Bradberry by 6 yards.  That kid is gonna light it up this year. He will also make all the underneath throws that much easier for Cam.

His creation of separation is something to behold.  It’s special.

The wormhole analogy Jourdan Rodrigue used earlier this year was 100% spot on.

He might as well be f^cking Nightcrawler.

Dave Tepper just came over to joke with a couple reporters. “How many people do you think are here tonight?” “(Silence...) - Idk, 42,000?” Tepper: “OK, how many people do you think would be here if we had a roof?”

The Carolinas are gonna remember this guy for a long time. He'll make major moves for our states, far surpassing his football obligations.

Is it just me, or is Cam's spiral tighter than it used to be?

I seem to recall the ball being somewhat wobbly when he threw it early in his career. Maybe I'm just noticing it now.

I think since the shoulder injury a few years ago yes. But when he came into the league he had a great spiral on his deep balls

I have learned after going to a bunch of these that how they lined up tonight is how they the coaches see the depth chart right now.  Sure things could change but it gives us good insight for the moment. So here is my take from last night.   Will try to go over some things that’s aren’t obvious  and some early predictions.

Offense -  Scarlett is running as the #2 back.  He did get dinged up so didn’t see much of him.  Holyfield actually surprised me   Looked good.  I think there is a battle for 3rd rb.  The VET wins out unfortunately.

Wrs- A. Robinson and RRoss are on the outside looking in right now. Team seems to like the Mickens kid. And he is shifty.  Starters looked great including Wright. Man he is a bargain.

TEs- Hemingway will be the 4th TE and on the PS. Dude can get open.

OL-  Daley absolutely makes team.  Started at RG with Turner out and looked good.  Daryl looked OK a LT. Still an upgrade over Speedbump.   No insight on Little, sorry.  Really like Paradis.  He won’t get hype but he may be our best signing.

QB’s-  Allen is your backup QB.  Grier May have brief showings but the game is too fast right now.  Can’t process it and scrambled all the time. That will change over time.  Allen looks damn good physically and mentally.  But right now I see us carrying 3 Qbs.  Not good for the 53.

Defense-   OLB- Addison is a real liability in coverage.  And I don’t see that changing at his age.  Burns may be the steal of the draft.  In person his measurables are off the chart.  Suprised me with play strength. Player that caught my eye the most was Irvin. He can do it all and will have a good year.  Miller May take a year or two.  Haynes is still quick but his play strength is a concern.  I want to see if he gained any weight in offseason.

DL-  McCoy didn’t practice   Really wanted to see him in person.  KK looks to have some juice in his step this season and really trying to be a leader by example.  Hope it translates to production.  Poe??? This may be his last year.  Butler???  Um no thanks. Someone should have checked his measurables before drafting him in first round. Love is still the ultimate value on DL.  They also seem to really like the Hamilton kid.  Probably PS.

LBs -Carter has good recognition but also needs help in coverage.  Smith looked good and his recognition is better than last year.  None of the other LBs stood out to me.  Kuechly did practice some. So I doubt injury was concussion.

CBs-  Donte didn’t practice. Seymour took his place. He looks good this year so far. Bradberry needs help over the top, always. Cole Luke is in the drivers seat for the nickel. I am rooting for Corn but not sure If he makes it.   The Josh Thornton kid looks good. Not 53 but PS.

S-  we are paper thin here.  Cockrell athletically is ok for safety. But looks very uneasy back there.  Not natural.  But make no mistake, Boston is an upgrade.  He stepped right back in and the recognition difference is obvious.   Gualden didn’t practice.  Reid was completely out of position when donte burned Bradberry.   But ousts is wife those the rest are Meh.
