MeAngelo is a fuging snowflake. Everyone loses their parents and you're no different. I've never seen an average player with a bigger ego. He talks a lot of poo for someone who only had 2 season over 1000 yards in an 11 year career. Would love to see this clown catch a beating.

He's probably lucky that Twitter had only existed for a month when we drafted him. 

I remember seeing a guy on some forum talking about DeAngelo holding bizarre grudges about stuff that didn't matter (he was apparently really salty about some guy that beat him in a footrace once iirc) and just generally acting like a tool in college.  This was in 2006 and was easy to blow off, but it's funny to look back on now.

The thing is, he never mentioned anythig about the draft.  He mentioned liking Richardson and his interactions even right after that.  Then he pointed out the airplane incident, Specifically pointing out saying *hint hint* it was because Olsen's son had the Same disease as Jerry.

This is the most ridiculous bunch of bullshit I’ve ever read.

The org drafted him in the first round, nurtured him and helped to develop him into one of the best feature backs in the league.

They have always done a great job taking care of their veterans. If there was a problem with players and ownership, he seems to be the only one in the world still grinding over it. Pretty telling.

Then again, a lot of this is just the pre-orchestrated Skip Bayless variety of fake hot-take outrage. It draws an instant spotlight upon your profile, and doesn’t cost a dime.

The real bizarre one was trying to blame Rivera for his struggles here at the end (including coming in heavy and out of shape after the contract, the WFNZ specifically pointed to that)

If you cant take it upon yourself and blame the staff for you becoming a lazy out of shape bum after getting a big contract.  You lose all credibility.

Olsen’s situation, a kid with a life threatening heart condition, is a completely different kind of tragedy. Williams is mistaken to compare the two.

Honestly his shtick is so over the top I wonder sometimes if it's a character.  I mean clearly it's not but good lord how can a human being be that bitter.

My one year old is currently learning not to throw a fit when someone else gets a toy he wants at daycare - I'm sure they have room for Deangelo to sit in for a few days and learn not to be a bitch.
